• Ask when sales may occur. If you ever ask an employee what is going on sale and they tell you they don't know, that's nearly impossible. How can the store plan for the following week's ad if they don't know anything about it? Most stores know what they have on ad at least one week out. It doesn't hurt to ask an employee or even a manager. They would rather you know and spend your money there than someplace else.
