Where Can I Buy Archway Christmas Cookies
From LoveToKnow Buy
"Where can I buy Archway Christmas Cookies?" is a common question Archway aficionados ask each year because they seem be become scarcer as time goes by. Near the end of October, Archway Christmas Cookies can be found in major retailers.
Where There's a Salerno
The easiest way to see if a grocery store can answer the question, "Where can I buy Archway Christmas cookies" is to scout the cookie aisle and find the Salerno cookies. That's because Archway Bakery also distributes the Salerno brand cookies. Some sections of Archway cookies are small areas, taking up one shelf or two, sometimes even less. If there are Archway and Salerno cookies stocked there, the chances are good that that store will carry Archway Christmas cookies.
Ask an employee (preferably someone on the management staff) if there is an Archway representative for that store. You see, most companies that stock potato chips, soda pop, or cookies use district representatives to come into the store, check stocks, order, and merchandise product. First, knowing that there is an Archway rep for the store is a good indicator that a constant flow of new and seasonal Archway products will pass through the store. Second, you might be able to get in contact with the representative in order to ask him or her what they will carry for the Christmas season.
Major Stores that carry Archway and will probably carry Archway Christmas cookies:
- Target: Target has good relationships with their vendors, so if you wish to get some inside info, befriend the grocery manager so you can befriend the Archway/Salerno rep.
- Walmart: Walmart will have a good amount of selection and should be in stock for most of the season. The prices will most likely be the cheapest.
- Kmart: It's possible that Kmart might have higher prices, but you can use Kmart as a last resort if the local area is running low and you have a huge addiction.
- Jewel-Osco: If it's a major grocery retailer, then they should have the cookies.
You will probably not have any luck going to the local mom and pop grocery stores because keeping quantities on hand may not be beneficial or profitable. If you know the owners or the person who orders product, don’t feel bad if you use that friendship for cookie requests. A strategy like this might work in smaller towns where there is only a tiny grocery store and you are far from a big-time grocery store.
