What about a bike that is used during the winter, but stored outside? Should I be removing the battery if the overnight temperatures are below freezing?

Appreciate the information. How about what do the letters on the battery mean "GTX20L" vs "ETX20HL" and such. Thanks.

Marc, Total Motorcycle has some excellent tips for motorcycle storage during the winter. For this specific question, you could use the Contact Us option on their page. Whatever you decide, don't forget to take the battery out and charge it periodically throughout the winter months.

Hi I have a question I STORE MY MOTORCYCLE BATTERY IN A METAL SHELF BUT I PUT THE BATTERY INSIDE A CARTBOARD BOX AND THEN I PUT IN THE SHELF IS THAT ALRIGHT? IF ANYONE CAN REPLY I'LL APRECIATED THANKS MARC.
