Lisa, try this link Zappos. They recommend Rollerblade brand and not the ones you can purchase cheaply at most sport good stores. You may have to spend a few more bucks than usual, but you may find more comfort in the ones listed.

Hey, I have narrow feet (wear AA in shoes) and can rarely find any shoe that fits unless I order online and even then sometimes. So! I have 3 pairs of rollerblades and have made some pretty bad choices not knwing the rules - can any1 shed light on the best brand 4 narrow feet? I have ankle scars and lower leg scars from wear the skates rub and burn on my ankles and below my calves.

Greggs, to be on the safe side, I would contact the company that makes the rollerblades just to see what they recommend.

Tell me, should one buy one size bigger than normal, for example I'm a size 14 should I get a size 15? I want to buy a Roces M12 UFS in fact :)

Carnac44, loosening laces seem to be a common problem. Make sure you're lacing your roller blades up tightly from the bottom all the way to the top. Some people tend to just pull the laces tight at the top rather than working their way up; that can make them feel looser over time. Perhaps you favor the foot with the gradually loosening laces more than the other. Extra force on that foot will put more pressure on the laces, causing them to feel loose more quickly than the others.

Why is that everytime the laces are tightened on a pair of rollerblade bladerunner model it still loosens up but only on one foot? It feels like the foot is turning in.

Carlos, first make sure your roller blades fit properly and that they aren't laced too tightly. Then, if returning them and finding a pair you find more comfortable isn't an option, put on a silky/slick sock underneath your regular thick socks. The friction will mostly be between the two pairs of socks rather than the sock and your skin.

Rob, it's really hard to say without seeing how the skates fit your feet. You could have the wrong size, bad skates (or a bad style for your feet), or it could be that it's your first time wearing them. Chances are favorable, though, that it's just because it was your first time wearing the roller blades--especially if they felt fine when you initially tried them on.

I just bought a pair of roller blades and i used them for about a half of hour and the next day i had blisters. Now is this because this is my first time on blades or is it because i bought some bad roller blades?
